So I had to share this pic that I took of Gia Bella the other day...

I'm a black pants kind of girl so when I bought Gia's first pair I figured I'd pair it with a necklace of mine and this is what I got. Too cute, right?

Well again, it's been a while since I have posted anything about my little bumpkin but can you believe she will be 6 months this month? Time sure does fly by and we have watched our precious Gia Bella grow into the most beautiful thing we have ever seen :)

She is now sitting up by herself and pretty much grabbing everything in sight and I think her favorite thing to do is to watch out little dog peanut. She cracks up every time she sees him and pretty much breaks her neck to find out where he is when she hears his little paws roaming through the house. There are so many things I can go into but all I can say is that it's truly amazing to see her explore the world around her and every day I spend with her is such a blessing. Oh, one other thing is that this girl loves to talk! Mornings are non stop but when she sees her daddy come through the door in the afternoon she always has so much to tell him!

I'm 2 months!

Hi everyone! I'm 2 months as of Sunday and I'm off to get my shots today :(

I know it may hurt for a second but I'll have my mommy and daddy right by my side to comfort me :) I'll get back to you all on how big I'm getting!

Ok so it wasn't so bad and guess what? I am now 10 pounds 6 ounces and 23 inches long! If I keep growing like this I will surely pass up my mama :)

Well, our little angel is almost 2 months old and it's crazy how fast time flies! We see her little personality shine through as each day passes and now that I have decided to be a stay at home mama I get to see Gia discover the world and I absolutely love it!
She smiles all the time and is beginning to coo and talk to us a lot more and today we actually heard a little chuckle while Danny was at home talking to her. As far as sleeping and eating....she eats like a horse and is now sleeping 5 hours a night but still has her evenings when it doesn't work out that way. Here are some recent pics.....

Our little angel, Gia Bella was born on Monday, July 27th of 2009 weighing 6 pounds 11 ounces and it's amazing how much happiness she has brought to out life! There have been many sleepless nights but no matter how frustrated or tired I am the second I see her little face my heart melts!
Now I can understand when mommies say that the love you have for your child is like no other. I seriously could not imagine life without her and I know Danny and I can't wait for each new day we get to spend with her. She truly is a blessing and we thank the good lord for bringing her into out life!

It's been a while......

Yes, I can say that again! I am horrible at updating our blog but I just couldn't pass up sharing some of our maternity pictures that my best friend Court took for us. You are a doll for doing this for us and as comfy as I am with you I still get all weird with taking pictures but we loved them all! Thanks Court and we love you, Chris and Ella Michelle so very much!
As far as the pregnancy..... it's been pretty good up until about a week or so ago. I have the sciatic nerve thing bothering me but only 3 weeks left so I think I can manage and that is as long as Danny gives me a little rub down when need be! Our little Gia Bella is well on her way to joining us and we can't wait! We already love our little chiquita so very much!

Girl therapy

We started a new tradition, to get together at the beginning of the year to put all our goals, hopes and dreams into a box...a shadow box that is. I knew this was not going to be just another reason for us to get together as we will come up with anything but this was truly something different. We each took the time to find items that were important to us and items that signified what we wanted to take place this year. Mel decided that we should all go around the room and explain why we chose the things we did and although it took a good hour to get started we managed to get through everyone. I won't go through the details because that is something we will forever share as a group but I will say hearing their dreams, challenges they are facing and goals for the year made these girls seem more beautiful than ever. Not that we haven't connected on this level before but it was seriously like therapy...where there is laughing, crying and more laughing but it was so needed.
We've all been broken down before but we've all been there for one another and this is just one more memory to add to our crazy book of life! We had a purpose and we accomplished it TOGETHER!

All of you are truly something special and you each mean the world to me. To have friends like you is like no other and it's something I can't live without!

Our little lady Michala was not able to be there but she was there in spirit..we love you honey bear and as god is on your side at this difficult time so are your girls.

These girls are oldies, goodies but most importantly...KEEPERS! Here's to a year of changes, new beginnings, new opportunities and making things happen! Love you all!
